When people vacation in Vail, they generally expect to be in ‘Vail Village’ – the area of Vail where the rustic yet modern alpine village is located. Cascade Village, however, is just to the west of Vail Village and is certainly a big part of Vail to local residents. If, however, you long for the shopping and dining in Vail Village, you can easily get there by the Town of Vail free bus once you are in the Lions head area.
From this home, you would probably want to take the free Town of Vail bus or a taxi into Lionshead or Vail Village. Also you can drive your car into the area and park in the Lionshead or Vail Village parking decks.
